Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Repurpose Tool. By using the Service you agree to them.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Repurpose Tool (the "Service") at repurposetool.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Repurpose Tool provides tools to convert long videos into short clips, generate and optimize video metadata, and publish content to third-party platforms you connect. Features may change over time.

3. Accounts & eligibility

• You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices and plan limits are shown in the app.
• Usage is metered (for example, by minutes of source video processed). When you reach a plan limit, you may need to upgrade to continue.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

5. Your content & rights

• You retain ownership of the videos and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transform that content solely to provide the Service to you.
• You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload or link, and to publish it to the accounts you connect.
• You are solely responsible for the content you create and distribute through the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Infringe intellectual property or other rights.
• Upload or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, or content you are not authorized to use.
• Violate the terms of any third-party platform you connect (including YouTube, Meta/Facebook/Instagram/Threads, LinkedIn, Twitch, Kick, and others).
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

7. Third-party platforms

The Service connects to third-party platforms via their APIs. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions. You are responsible for complying with each platform's policies.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Repurpose Tool and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that automated results (such as clip selection or generated metadata) will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repurpose Tool will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the Service in a way that harms us or others.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
