Repurpose Tool ("Repurpose Tool", "we", "us") provides tools to turn long videos into short clips, optimize video metadata, and publish content to social platforms you connect. This policy applies to repurposetool.comand our related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and any name you provide, via our authentication provider.
• Connected accounts. When you connect a platform (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Twitch, Kick, and similar), we store the access tokens that platform issues, plus basic account identifiers (e.g. channel/page name, handle, account id). These tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to perform actions you request.
• Content you provide. Video URLs you submit, files you upload, generated clips, transcripts, titles, descriptions, and captions.
• Usage data. Processing activity such as minutes of video processed, jobs run, and feature usage, used for billing limits and to operate the Service.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details; Stripe does.
• Cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as light/dark theme).

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To process the videos you submit into clips and optimized metadata.
• To publish content to the accounts you connect, only when you ask us to.
• To meter usage and enforce plan limits.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account and support requests.

Third-party services

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Service:

• Authentication & database — to host your account and data.
• Stripe — to process subscription payments.
• AI/LLM providers — to generate titles, descriptions, and captions from your transcripts. Transcription runs on our own infrastructure.
• Social platform APIs — to read the accounts you connect and publish content on your behalf.
• Hosting & CDN/security (e.g. Cloudflare) — to serve and protect the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Google / YouTube API Services

Where you connect YouTube, Repurpose Tool uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of Google data is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke Repurpose Tool's access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings. We use YouTube data only to provide features you request and do not use it for advertising.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect any platform, delete generated clips, or request full deletion of your account and data at any time. See our Data Deletion instructions, or email support@repurposetool.com. Disconnecting a platform revokes and deletes the stored tokens for that platform.

Security

We encrypt connected-account tokens at rest and use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise them, contact support@repurposetool.com.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
